Designer Terms & Conditions

1. Parties and Purpose
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) are entered into between Polished Brides LLC (“Publisher,” “we,” “our”) and the undersigned Designer (“Designer,” “you”).

By submitting materials, payment, or an application to be featured in The Bridal Style Bible™ (the “Publication”), you agree to the terms below.
2. Submission and Editorial Rights
a. Designers must submit all required materials, images, logos, descriptions, and any requested assets, by the deadlines provided by our editorial team.

b. Polished Brides LLC retains full creative and editorial control over all content included in the Publication, including but not limited to: image selection, cropping, color adjustments, typography, layout, and accompanying text.

c. Images may be edited, retouched, or reformatted as necessary to maintain the Publication’s cohesive aesthetic and technical print standards.

d. The Publisher reserves the right to decline any images or content that do not meet quality, ethical, or artistic standards, without refund.
3. Intellectual Property and License
a. Designer affirms they own or have legal rights to all submitted materials and that such materials do not infringe any third-party rights.

b. By submitting materials, Designer grants Polished Brides LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and distribute the materials in print, digital, audio, video, or promotional formats related to The Bridal Style Bible™ and affiliated Polished Brides™ platforms.

c. Designer retains ownership of all original intellectual property but waives approval rights for the Publisher’s final creative edits, layouts, and marketing usage.
4. Payment and Refund Policy
a. All payments are due in full at the time of application unless otherwise stated in writing.

b. Feature fees are non-refundable, including if Designer withdraws, fails to submit materials by deadline, or is removed for non-compliance.

c. Printed copies purchased separately ($200 + shipping) are processed upon publication release and are final sale.
5. Representation and Warranties
Designer represents that:
- All statements and submissions are accurate and original.
- All models featured have granted necessary permissions for use.
- Submitted work complies with applicable copyright, privacy, and publicity laws.
Designer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Polished Brides LLC, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims arising from the use of submitted materials.
6. Publication and Distribution
a. Polished Brides LLC does not guarantee specific placement, order, or prominence in the Publication.

b. Publication dates may shift based on production or distribution requirements.

c. Designer will receive one digital copy of the issue in which they appear; printed editions are optional at Designer cost.
7. Creative Integrity and Editorial Control
Designer acknowledges that artistic direction, layout, and final editorial presentation are solely at the discretion of Polished Brides LLC.

Minor adjustments may be made to ensure consistency of tone, style, and visual quality across all designer features.
8. Confidentiality
All editorial concepts, mock-ups, and pre-release materials shared by the Publisher are confidential and may not be distributed or disclosed without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstance shall Polished Brides LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Publication. Liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount paid by Designer.
10. Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
11. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the full understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements. Amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties.
